SF Giants did it again

Another victory for the Giants in Colorado–and I missed most of it because I kicked back in the recliner to watch the game (I usually sit at my computer, keeping track of details on my MLB app and/or chatting with other Giants fans) and you know what happens after you stay out late celebrating the night before…of course, I fell sound asleep in my recliner and woke up in the bottom of the eighth.

I hear Johnny Cueto gave us another quality start.

05.29 920x920It’s tough to write about a game you haven’t watched, but from what I’ve read, we doubled our way to victory and Hunter Pence led the charge–with three RBI doubles. Brandon Belt hit two doubles, Gregor Blanco and Brandon Crawford also contributed with a double each. Buster Posey hit three times, including a double, and  Denard Span came back from a day of rest to contribute a 441 foot solo home run. Good bat production two games in a row. The final score of the game was:

Giants 8, Rockies 3

My goal today is to stay awake during the game which starts at 10:00 am in Atlanta. That won’t be easy since I fell asleep for a couple of hours during the day yesterday so, of course, I couldn’t get to sleep last night. This morning I feel worse than I did yesterday. It seems I can no longer party like a rock star.

The game will be on CSN-BA and KNBR 680, and you can follow along on the game time thread on Kruk & Kuip on Facebook.
