For all SF Giants fans who are wondering where I’ve been: I’ve had some out-of-town company and I haven’t been able to write much. I haven’t been able to watch much either.
The good news is I didn’t have to watch the Dodgers put the big hurt on the Giants Friday night. I thought Thursday’s game against the Cubs was a bloodbath. Compared to Friday night’s showing against the Dodgers, Thursday’s game was merely a flesh wound. The bad news is it didn’t matter whether I was watching or not, the Dodgers slaughtered us. The final score was:
Giants 0, LA 13
The Giants fared much better in Friday afternoon’s game against Kansas City. The final score was:
Giants 8, KC 5
Saturday the Giants took on the Cubs again. The difference is this time the Giants and the Cubs played a reasonable game. The final score was:
Giants 5, Cubs 2
I probably won’t post about the Sunday game against the White Sox scheduled to be played at 1:05 pm. Jake Peavy is scheduled to start for the Giants and Matt Latos for the White Sox. The game will be broadcast on KNBR 680.
I’ll be back to recap Monday night’s 7:05 pm game against Arizona. You’ll be able to see it on CSN-BA or MLB.TV.
Until then, Happy Easter.
