I have to apologize for not being a little more “on the ball” Apparently the San Francisco GIANTS organization is going to recognize the “Gamer” movement with a special event at AT&T Park next Saturday, June 14, 2014. This would have been the perfect event for us to plan on attending as a group! Be prepared…they’re calling it the 1st annual. I’ll be sure to organize a group next year. In the meantime, there are tickets for sale and we can go as individuals. I hope some of you will, after all, you’re GAMERS!!!
Gamer Day Presented by Half Moon Bay Brewing Co
For women who love baseball
Saturday, 6/14 vs. COL 1:05 p.m.
The Giants are proud to announce the 1st Annual Gamer Day at AT&T Park! The term “Gamer” is often said by Giants alumni and beloved broadcaster Mike Krukow, when describing women who love Giants baseball! Over the years, it has been formalized from the passion of millions of Giants fans all across the country! On this particular day, special event ticket holders will receive early ballpark entry to a private Q&A session with Mike Krukow, leader of the movement, as well as a ticket to the game versus the Rockies. This “open-mic” event will include baseball chatter, stories and entertaining anecdotes from Krukow, Giants players and coaches, and other Giants Gamer supporters. The private pre-game Q&A session begins at 10:00am, with the Lefty O’Doul Gate opening up for Gamer Day ticket-holders at 9:30am. In addition to admission to the pr-game event, as special event ticket holders will receive a Gamer Day hat AND Gamer Day patch! So grab your family, friends, and most definitely your Gamers and come to AT&T Park for an afternoon dedicated to the thousands of women who share the love of Giants baseball.
